Additional Defensive Depth Against Low-Altitude Aerial Threats

KINS is a reusable, non-explosive aerial barrier architecture that creates a physical interdiction layer between low-altitude drone threats and the assets they target.

Threat drones are inexpensive. The assets they target are not. KINS is designed to help change the cost-exchange equation by adding a reusable barrier layer to existing defensive architectures.

What KINS Adds

KINS does not replace existing air defense. It adds depth. The system is designed as a physical barrier effector that can be cued by existing sensors and command systems, preserving higher-cost interceptors for threats that require them while providing a lower-cost response option for selected low-altitude unmanned threats.

  • Reusable, non-explosive โ€” platforms reset after each deployment
  • Approximately $2,500 per intercept (net panel replacement)
  • Designed to complement, not replace, existing defensive systems
  • Mission-specific variants for maritime and land-based environments
  • No fixed infrastructure required

Scalable by Design

Low-altitude aerial threats do not present one operational problem. KINS is structured as a variant family so the same core defensive effect can be adapted to different environments without forcing one geometry or one platform class into every mission.

KINS Maritime Compact Vessel defense, port protection, maritime corridors
KINS Standard Land-based, expeditionary, base defense, maneuver force

The Threat Is Cheap.
The Defense Cannot Stay Expensive.

Selected low-altitude drone threats should not always require expensive missile interceptors. A reusable barrier layer creates another option in the defensive stack.
